As a member of NACTA, you have the opportunity to attend an annual conference each year at a reduced registration fee, but why should you? By attending the conference, you are able to connect with and learn from others who share the same passion for the improvement of teaching and learning in agriculture, food and natural resources. The annual NACTA conference will provide you with new teaching techniques, ideas and resources. It is also one of the best professional development activities for networking with other teaching professionals where the common discipline is “teaching.”

In addition to learning from others, the conference gives you the opportunity to present your own ideas in oral or poster presentation. Each year about 250 abstracts are presented at the NACTA Conference, and these are published in a supplement to the NACTA Journal. Graduate students can enter the annual poster contest and win cash. Besides the interaction with other teaching professionals, the NACTA Conference is held on different college and university campuses across the U.S and Canada! Attending the annual NACTA Conference is a professional development and networking  experience for all those who attend.
