Abstract:

While reading newspapers and listening to news commentators, we are made aware of many gaps in our society. Some of the more common ones include the generation gap, the credibility gap, the communication gap, etc. I would like to discuss another gap in our society which is becoming increasingly evident. It is one which affects all of us as agriculturists and consumers. For lack of a better term I will call this gap a "consumer awareness gap."
