Abstract:

The use of visual aids in the classroom has become very popular in recent years - - flip charts, chalkboards, easel cards, movies, filmstrips, slides and transparencies. "A good picture is worth a thousand words." However, a poor visual is worse than none at all. Why are visuals important?
