Abstract:

This article is a report on efforts at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC) to provide students in Agribusiness Economics (ABE) 351 - Financial Management in Agriculture - with the opportunity to apply recent advances in business management technology to problems in agricultural financial management. Specifically, the work reported in the following pages examines the teaching of Coordinated Financial Statements for Agriculture (CFS) using commercially available microcomputer software.
