Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to discuss the application of horticulture topics and activities to the education and training of exceptional elementary students. The activities were coordinated through an existing program in the Special Education Program. Students in the Horticulture Therapy class in the School of Agriculture were required to develop two types of Special Education training procedures using horticulture subjects. The interaction of Horticulture Therapy and Special Education students sparked enthusiasm for training and learning.
