Abstract:

Cognitive styles of international and domestic graduate students from two departments in a College of Agriculture were assessed with the GEFT. Relationships between gender and major were also examined. A mixed-method approach examined antecedents in the international students. International students were found significantly more field dependent than domestic graduate students. lmplications are drawn for teachers and advisers.
