Abstract:

The past 12 months have brought almost a blizzard of headlines reporting actions or events of significance for international agricultural trade.

We went during that period from the President's lifting of the embargo on nonstrategic trade with Mainland China and the 50-50 shipping restrictions on grain to Russia last June to his historic mission to that country in May.
