Abstract:

As cohabitants of the North American continent we have many similarities and common interests not the least of which is agricultural education. Like many other aspects of Canadian life, agricultural education in Canada today is the result of a British or French heritage and an American environment. In recent years, many of the developments in agriculture in Canada including educational programs, research, and various aspects of production agriculture and agri-business have been influenced by developments in the United States.
