A Master’s Degree in Agricultural Extension Education is not often found at many universities across the United States. The purpose of this project was to summarize graduate level Agricultural Extension Education degree programs offered at U.S. universities. Overall, we found 17 universities offering a full degree, specialization, or certification which may be paired with another graduate degree program. There was flexibility in course offerings ranging from either online to on-campus, or both. It was found that total required credits for the degree ranged from 30 to 36 credits and core required credits varied from six credits to 24 credits. While a program offering a certification required 15 credits to graduate. Student career placement after graduation was primarily with Extension Offices and school-based agricultural education. Commonalities among syllabi, reading lists, and assignments for core courses were collected, analyzed, and reported. Universities can use these findings to analyze their current graduate program and compare it to offerings at other institutions.
